Topics.. HRE…Rolling Stones Night…Unexpected Visitor
This night was action packed.. Miss Fitch was still offline, and I felt a mild panic attack begin over that. I was able to refocus once I began to spin at HRE. I teased Mikki, my host, over her wardrobe choice.. Last time I saw her she was all done up like a dowdy spinster, and thankfully she opted for more revealing attire. OMG™!!!
Catalina and both my sisters, Jann and Ash, came to dance. Skyler got called into work as a fill in at Exile.
As I spun wildly fun music, I was able to reach my mum, Candy, and sort out the confusion around the seeming tension with Ash. I don’t usually post details of private conversations, and I won’t start now, but suffice to say all is good now and I felt much relieved to have had a chance to go over some things with mum.
My set ended at HRE, and I took a few moments to myself before my big event at Exile. I was doing a rather bold thing, playing two hours of Rolling Stones music. I chose my two favorite albums, Sticky Fingers and of course Exile on Main Street. Although only lightly attended, it was fun to decorate the club and dance to some of my favorite music.
A surprise happened about an hour into my set. One of my regular blog readers, Danaf!, arrived for the first time. He is a fashion blogger on WordPress, and I was thrilled. His location is in Thailand, and he was enjoying his lunch on the other side of the international date line. I smiled thinking that he knew from reading my blog just about everyone in the club with me.
At the end of my set I sneaked in a song from a kpop band called Crayon Pop, just for Danaf!… he is a big fan of Korean dance music, and I admit I am too… The set over, it was time for the late night hi jinks.. Skyler, Catalina, Jann and me all went to the track to go around on our fancy motorbikes. Jann was so fun and looked hot hot hot straddling her chopper..
This little race session soon devolved into chaos as Skyler and Catalina began to have ever expanding epic spell and weapon battles. The variety and intensity of the attacks was brain busting. Skyler at one point had opened a portal to hell and various demons and skeletons poured out devouring poor Catalina’s soul. Jann and I flew high above the fray trying to avoid the fallout. I had been given a copy of Howls Moving Castle, and I rezzed it up and sat in the crows nest while Jann flew around like Super Girl.
It came late and I knew I would pay the price the next day, and I am cursing my three co-horts with a huge grin on my mush as I write this out… Love being with my people, and I hate that it has to come to an end sometimes… Sigh ™… love be your guide… Frenzy.
